Newborn baby toes might be my favorite thing to photograph. Scrolling through photos from a session, they are always the first thing to catch my eye. So tiny and perfect, this sweet little feature on a new babe is a reminder of how perfect every child is, and nine day old baby Aaria is no exception.

Aaria’s mom, Kirstea is the sister of my brother-in-law Richie and her baby girl is carrying on the family genes. Just like big cousin Olivia, Aaria was born with a full head of gorgeous black hair. After coming home from the hospital, I joined Kirstea, Ian + Aaria at home in her coral and teal nursery for her newborn session.

From Kirstea: Aaria has surprised us since the very beginning. In the short amount of time she has been here with us, we could not imagine our lives without her. She has warmed our hearts and our home since the second we welcomed her into this world. She is loved by everyone dearly and has truly stolen our hearts.

Aaria’s nursery had beautiful natural light shining in through the window. It allowed me to capture the carefully planned details of the room where this precious little girl will grow up. Kirstea dressed her in an adorable onesie that read “so the adventure begins”. With two little ones at home myself and another on the way, Kirstea could not have picked a more accurate outfit for the journey they’re embarking on.

Kirstea + Ian, thank you for welcoming me into your home to capture your new little angel. She was such a joy to capture and I can’t wait to watch her grow into a beautiful young lady over the years!
