Our friend Heather of Heather Christopher Travel is at it again! It’s been a big year for Heather with the addition of new team member Chelly and now with the launch of Travel Pro Theory. I couldn’t be prouder of the waves this girl is making in her business and industry and was thrilled to shoot the branding session for her newest joint endeavor.
They say all great businesses are built out of necessity. When you can’t find the product or service you need to make your life or business better, create a solution. That’s exactly what Heather and Kate of North & Leisure did! These experienced travel pros were frustrated at the lack of education and support available to the industry so they created the resource they wished was available.
From Heather: We feel so strongly about this space we’ve created because it was something we saw lacking in the industry. No one was answering questions about profit or recruitment or things advisors need to quit doing so that we all become better or things suppliers need to up their game in. We wanted to provide a mentor program that wasn’t designed around a bunch of papers you don’t really want to download but working through real-time problems. We also benefit so much from our workcations, we wanted to share it with others. Sitting beside each other, working away, is the best way to connect and do bigger, better and more meaningful things!
Travel Pro Theory is designed to provide inspiration, actionable items, support, and industry education to new and experienced travel consultants alike. Through workcations (yes – that’s a thing!), mentorships and even a podcast, Kate and Heather are elevating their industry and filling a void that’s been present for way too long.
From Kate: We believe in community over competition. We believe in sharing systems, best practices, information and, dare we say it, client leads because we aren’t worried about someone not returning to us after working with another amazing travel pro. This is a resource for professionals in the travel industry that decision makers, independents, one-man bands, pioneers, and visionaries. We want to support the individual(s) that becomes the brand. Ultimately we want to help elevate and simplify #travelprolife.
As you know, I’m a firm believer in community over competition as a leader of the Gettysburg chapter of Rising Tide Society. Heather and Kate built the foundation of Travel Pro Theory on this same concept and I couldn’t be prouder of the community and brand they are building.
Kate and Heather, it’s always a joy to watch your friends and fellow small business owners grow and evolve their businesses. Seeing your dedication to the betterment of your industry inspires me daily. I can’t wait to watch the two of you support fellow travel pros on their business journey and I know you will inspire all of them the way you do me!
