Before baby Brynn was born, her mom Jess didn’t think she wanted to have a newborn session. But once this sweet little girl entered the world and seeing her with her sister, she knew she wanted to preserve how perfect Brynn was. Currently living out of town, Jess and her family scheduled a trip back to Fairfield for her family to meet their newest little lady. Once their trip was on the calendar, Jess reached out to schedule a newborn/sisters session for Brynn and Cadence and boy am I glad she did!
Since we didn’t have Brynn’s nursery to use for our session, we had to get creative. We decided on actually using my own girl’s room – completely neutral, huge window for beautiful natural light and a toddler bed or crib to choose from. Often newborn sessions take place at home to showcase their nursery and make them feel more comfortable, but all you really need for a gorgeous newborn session is a simple neutral location and beautiful natural light.
By stripping away the bedding from our daughter’s toddler bed and exposing the classic white sheet, it created the perfect setting to capture Brynn’s tiny little features. Her big sister Cadence joined us for the session and is already so in love with Brynn. At home, she helps Jess whenever she can and is always checking in on her little sister. Capturing the two of them together at this young age is something they will treasure forever. There is nothing like a sisterly bond!
Jess, thank you for letting me capture your two beautiful girls together. Brynn is absolutely precious and I’m so happy sweet Cadence warmed up! Her smile is completely contagious. It will be so fun to see how the girls relationship evolves over the next year.
