black and white ravens inspired baltimore wedding

You might remember Lauren + Don from their Baltimore engagement session we shared a few months ago. Charm City holds such meaning for the both of them so we were sure to  incorporate significant landmarks from around the city that had importance in their lives like the Inner Harbor where Don proposed.

Since both Lauren + Don are HUGE Baltimore Raven’s fans, what better venue than M&T Bank Stadium surrounded by family and friends. They kept their colors classic opting for black and white which allowed the Raven’s iconic purple on the field to really pop.

After getting ready at the stadium, Lauren + Don began their day together by doing a first look at Lauren’s grandparent’s home in Federal Hill. Lauren’s grandmother suffers from Alzheimer’s and wasn’t physically able to make it to the wedding. It meant the world to Lauren for her grandmother, who was such an important part of her life growing up, to be able to see her in her wedding dress. The photos from this moment are ones I’m sure Lauren will cherish forever.

One moment Lauren + Don really wanted to capture at their wedding was a group shot of all their guests. While guest books are great, they thought it would be nice to be able to look back and see the smiling faces of all their friends and family that celebrated their big day with them. Since their love for football runs deep, Lauren + Don had each of their guests sport a favorite jersey over their wedding attire for the group shot.

While being able to capture this fun loving group as a whole was amazing, my favorite photos from Lauren + Don’s day came from the field. Being able to capture the two of them standing in a place that has such meaning for them and their relationship was the icing on top of the cake to their perfect wedding day.

Lauren + Don, thank you for letting me a part of this special day. Your love and laughter for each other, your children and the people you love is contagious and I enjoyed every minute that I got to be with you and your family. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you!
