I’m not sure there’s a better gift for mommas than photos with their little loves. Jessica’s amazing sister, Amanda, gifted her with a momma + me session with her adorable two-year-old Evangelina (Lina). Jessica chose to make it a family affair including both her sister, Amanda, and her own mom, Shirley. It was so fun capturing three generations of Sowerbrower women!
I met Jessica + Lina at Baker Park in Frederick, Maryland – the perfect location for an energetic toddler. With two toddlers of my own at home (plus Coopie J!), I know how on the go little ones can be. While we ran through the park for most of our session, I was able to capture Lina’s bright, fun-loving personality.
From Jessica: My favorite thing about this age is getting to see her emerging personality and recognize her family ties. Watching her learn that she’s funny and can command an audience, and know that she is a vital part of the fabric of our family is such a gift. Our tribe is so much stronger with her in it!
The golden hour light was really showing off during Jessica + Lina’s session. It cast the perfect glow over Lina’s big brown eyes and beautiful curly hair when she would slow down and look at the camera. At this age, they seem to be growing and changing every day. I know Jessica is going to love having these photos to look back on and remember this sweet (and fast) phase.
Jessica, I’m so glad I was able to spend the evening with you, Lina, Amanda and your mom. It was such a thoughtful gift from your sister and meeting you + Lina was a joy. She is full of so much spunk – maybe taking after Aunt Amanda 🙂 I can only imagine how much love she adds to your family!
