cunningham falls lake family mini session

When our friend Tamara of Tamara & Company had her grand opening of her new store awhile back, we gifted a mini session with print credit for one of her giveaways. The lucky winners turned out to be Jamie + Brian and their three beautiful daughters.

Mini sessions are perfect for busy families that wanted updated photos but don’t have the time for a full session. A mini session lasts about 20 minutes and we capture five different family groupings – the whole family, all the siblings, mom and the kids, dad and the kids and mom and dad together. We’re able to capture the core of who your family is and give you beautiful images to display around the house without the time commitment of a full session.

The days leading up to Jamie + Brian’s session were rainy which ended up working in our favor. The family’s session was ideal with dew covered grass appearing more green than usual and the mirror like lake reflecting it’s beauty. It was the perfect backdrop to capture this family of five.

Jamie coordinated the family’s outfits perfectly mixing solids and patterns in a springy magenta color. She and her older daughters, Madelynn and Charlotte, even had matching braids with a big flower in their hair. Youngest daughter Chloe’s hair wasn’t quite long enough for a braid but she was still able to match her mom and big sisters with a flower.
