I know I will sound like a broken record when I say this, but one of my favorite parts of the photo session experience happens even before I ever touch my camera! Consults are amazing and give me a little glimpse into what is important to you, where you came from and aids in capturing relationships I see in front of me in a true light.  By learning more about YOU, your interests and ways we can personalize your session, your images stand out above the rest. In the past choosing locations with meaning or including family heirlooms, have added just the right amount of personal touch to sessions. For Ashley + Ryan, we chose a spot that holds many good memories for Ashley, her grandmother’s farm. 

She spent a lot of her childhood exploring her grandmother’s farm in Sabillasville, MD. Having the chance to capture her beautiful family on this special property was amazing. Ashley + Ryan didn’t mind showing me their cuddly side and having Bailey + Harlow to complete the family playing and exploring the farm as well made everything come full circle. This spot is a part of their legacy that continues to produce wonderful memories for this family. 

From Ashley: Bailey is big into softball right now. She’s a bit sassy but has the biggest heart. Harlow is more care free and always smiling, except when she’s cold! I spent my childhood on my grandma’s farm, so this brought back so many good memories for me. In this season of our lives, Ryan is busy with work so the girls and I cherish our time with him. He always keeps us laughing!

The views of the rolling hills behind the farm were amazing and the tall, end of season corn stalks created a dreamy backdrop for their session. I loved how Ashley chose earth tones for the family to wear. The shades fit the season and environment perfectly. They even coordinated with the quaint stone farmhouse on the property!

Ashley + Ryan, thank you for letting me capture your beautiful family and sharing this special place with me. It’s obvious how much Grandma’s farm means to each of you and I’m so glad you now have pictures there to solidify your legacy.
