elmwood farms mother’s day family mini session

As my girls grow up, the thing I find I want the most is more time with them. I love watching them learn new things, make new friends and figure out the world on their own, but sometimes I want them to just stay little forever. I know all you other mommas feel the same way right? Having updated family photos capturing each of their distinct personalities is a way to always remember how perfect they were during this phase.

Erica + Zach are long time clients of Expressions that trust me to capture their three beautiful daughters, Kayleigh, Mackenzie and Zadie every year. This year they scheduled their family mini session at one of my favorite places, Elmwood Farms, just in time for Mother’s Day.

While Elmwood also does weddings, it’s one of my favorite places for family sessions. The variety of backdrops, wide open spaces and farm animals make it ideal for keeping kids entertained and feeling like you’ve been to a variety of different locations without having to leave.

From Erica: I loved the animals at this location!  All three of my daughters loved them. Such a beautiful place and of course Jamie is just amazing with all the children!

With their busy schedules raising three sweet girls, Erica + Zach opted for a mini session this year. Even though we had a shorter amount of time than usual, the girls were rockstars and I was able to capture every family combination in the time we had. I could not have asked for a better session for this family!

Erica + Zach, thank you for allowing me to capture your family once again. I’m so happy you and the girls loved this location as much as I do and that we were able to schedule your session just in time for Mother’s Day. The girls are getting so big. I can’t wait to see how they grow even more over the next year.
