HI EVERYONE!!!

I am BEYOND thrilled to introduce myself as the owner and lead photographer of Expressions by Jamie. This dream became a reality for me in 2008. As cliché as it sounds, my business is becoming more than I could have imagined every day. I not only have grown as a person, but the business has grown as well over the past seven years. This would not have been possible without the privilege of continuing my education through a number of industry leaders.

I began this chapter of my life as a business owner for one main reason – my (future) family. I wanted to be able to do something that I loved, provide for my family, and not miss anything important in their lives. With them always in the forefront of my mind, I have been able to grow my business and craft it into something that allows me to LOVE my job! It is so exciting to be able to share my passion with others. Seeing joy in clients’ faces when they receive my creations brings so much satisfaction into my heart. If you aren’t currently doing something you love, I encourage you to make a plan and put it into action. The happiness brought into your life from this decision will be immeasurable.

Now seven years later, God has blessed with me a strong kind hearted husband, a sweet charismatic seven-month-old baby girl, a curious four-year-old pup with never-ending love, and we are expecting another precious little baby girl this December! The Fisher family recently went through the process of selling our first home, moving, and creating plans to build our forever home next year.

You might think this is a tremendous amount of juggling: How is this going to affect her business? To be honest, I thought the same thing. I thought it would really be a struggle to continue the momentum I’ve built up. Thankfully, my worries were cast aside and all of this excitement has only done wonderful things! It has given my business even more of a reason to thrive. My team has listened to our clients’ wants, continued our education, and tweaked our process all for a better experience. Things have really amped up in the Expressions world and I cannot wait to share it with you!

Our newest endeavor…. THE BLOG! This crazy online world we live in often creates wonderful opportunities for us to connect instantly. We no longer have to wait for a phone call, newspaper publication, or recorded TV broadcast to learn of current events. This type of instant gratification also has lost, for some people, the ability to connect on a deeper level. It is my hope that every avenue Expressions pursues will in fact have the opposite effect, in turn, creating even stronger relationships. In this place, I look forward to sharing with you ideas, dreams, personal adventures and beautiful imagery.
